More specifically, the colorway shows love to actor Miles Morales’s Spider-Man suit, and the animation style of the popular movie. The popular colorway, as you can see, also salutes another pop culture icon: the Air Jordan 1’s original and legendary “Chicago” colorway.

Just like the “Chicago” Jordan 1, the “Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse” features a white leather base accented with red leather overlays. The panels on the “Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse” may be slightly different than those found on the “Chicago,” and the “Origin Story” Jordan 1 from ‘19, but the sentiment is the same—this is one classic-looking colorway.
The Air Jordan 1 “Origin-Story” was one of the most resold sneakers of 2019 and, based on all the talk surrounding the new “Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse,” collectors will once again be willing to get their hands on the shoe at all costs.
