To help ensure that your items arrive safely and in the best condition to be sold, it’s important to pack them and ship them properly. Follow the steps below.

Step 1: Find The Right Box

  • Pack your items in a sturdy box with flaps. 
  • Use a new box whenever possible. If you have to reuse an old box, make sure to remove any old shipping labels.
  • When shipping multiple items, the ideal box to use is an Extra-Large Moving Box (24” L x 20” W x 21” D).

Step 2: Pack Items Correctly

  • Only include items listed on the ticket in the box.
  • We suggest including no more than 10 Items per box, but pack whatever fits comfortably. 
  • Use bubble wrap and/or shipping paper to ensure the items are secure in transit.

Step 3: Seal The Box

  • Seal your box with plastic or nylon tape that is at least two inches wide. Don’t use duct tape.
  • Use the “H Method” to tape boxes shut. Tape down the middle and on both sides.
  • Place identification information on top and bottom flaps.
    • DC number
    • Ticket number

Reminder
After everything is packed, double check that the box is taped using the “H Method” to help ensure items arrive safely.
