There is arguably no better time than right now to be wearing a fresh pair of sneakers. With winter in the rearview mirror, you can finally rock your favorite kicks knowing that snow, sleet, and other inclement weather conditions won’t be putting a cramp in your style for the foreseeable future. The nice weather doesn’t just benefit sneaker collectors, though, it benefits sneaker resellers, too.

The more collectors explore their style with new sneakers, the more profits our Consignor Partners earn in the reselling business. It’s really that simple.

As far as what sneakers collectors should be keeping an eye out for and resellers should be consigning at Stadium Goods, well, that’s what we’re here to talk about today. Our crack staff of sneaker-obsessives (read the Stadium Goods content team) put their heads together and came up with a list of a few sure-fire suggestions as far as what shoes our Consignor Partners should be consigning with us now and in the future.

Air Jordan 4

The Air Jordan 4 is a classic shoe that never really goes out of style. But it’s hard to argue against the fact that it is enjoying a renewed run in the spotlight right now thanks to colorways like the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green,” a collaboration that puts a skate twist on the retro hoops shoe, and the soon-to-be-released Air Jordan 4 “Thunder,” one half of the popular “Thunder & Lightning” collection from way back in the day. Both Jordan 4s are among the most hyped shoes of the year, and we predict further AJ4 releases this year will also be money.

New Balance 1906R

While the New Balance 990 “Made in USA” collection and the New Balance 550 are garnering serious attention in the sneaker community, there are a few other, more low-key styles by the Boston based shoe brand that are buzzing, as well. The New Balance 1906R comes to mind when you think of a shoe that’s value projects to rise as the weather heats up. Designed similarly to the New Balance 2002R, the 1906R has an early 2010s vibe that combines performance running technology with progressive styling. In other words, the 1906R is the quintessential shoe for right now. Consignors take note.

adidas Samba

The adidas Samba was one of the hottest shoes of 2022. Why would it suddenly fall off now that the weather is turning for the better? We’ve waxed poetic about the Samba before, but we have no problem doing it once more right now: the former indoor soccer shoe is pretty much all you need to be wearing if you want a sneaker that is comfortable and good to go in virtually any situation. You can wear the adidas Samba on dates, to the park, on vacation, in the city, in the suburbs—wherever. All that amounts to serious $$$ for pairs consigned with Stadium Goods.

Women’s Nike Dunk LX “Pink Foam”

We’re mentioning the Women’s Nike Dunk LX “Pink Foam” specifically as a shoe that should be on every consignor’s radar because it’s one of the hottest selling items at Stadium Goods right now. With its pink-based design, it’s pretty easy to see why that is—the colorway lends itself to warm weather wear. All other Dunks are still great to consign, too.

Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 “Big Bubble”

The Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 “Big Bubble – Red” was the big release of this year’s Air Max Day celebration. Designed to look like the original Air Max 1, the shoe features a significantly bigger Air cushioning bubble in the heel of its midsole to match the design of the original silhouette. The rest of the Air Max 1 ‘86 “Big Bubble – Red” is also true to the OG Air Max 1 model, with accurate panel shapes and colors. All these vintage-inspired features means more people will be trying to add a piece of sneaker history to their collections in the months to come… and we don’t have to tell any of our Consignor Partners twice that this is a good thing if you have pairs on hand to offload. And be on the lookout for further colorways of the “Big Bubble” AM1.
